Gala Auction Goes Online!

The annual Jazz & Heritage Gala's fund-raising auction of fun and valuable items goes online. Log on now to bid for a chance to see "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" in New York, and many other exciting prizes.

The 12th Annual Jazz & Heritage Gala will take place Thursday, April 22, at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside Hotel. This year’s event features a tribute to and performance by the legendary Dr. John.

Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Don Jamison Heritage School of Music, the free after-school music education program of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

In a new twist, the Gala is holding an online auction of very exciting prizes. Log on now for your chance to win. Among the many items up for bid:

• A trip for two to see the 2011 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, complete with air fare and deluxe hotel accommodations

• A Napa Valley wine country experience, with air fare and lodging

• A three-night trip to New York, including tickets to a taping of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”
