La. Cajun-Zydeco Festival This Weekend!
Grammy winners Buckwheat Zydeco and Terrance Simien will headline the fourth annual Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival this weekend at the Old U.S. Mint (map), presented by the
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. Admission is free. See details below.
The fourth annual Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival takes place Friday-Sunday at the Old U.S. Mint, in conjunction with the Louisiana Seafood Festival and the Great French Market's Creole Tomato Festival.
The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival features music on two stages and two dozen of the best crafters and artisans in the region. The Louisiana Seafood Festival will present great local seafood - all certified safe - from 15 New Orleans restaurants, with proceeds going to support Louisiana's fishermen and wetlands protection.
Show your support for the fishermen, shrimpers and oyster harvesters who are so vital to Louisiana's culture - come to the festival!

Abita Beer is the official beer of the Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival and the Louisiana Seafood Festival.
On The Air: Community radio station WWOZ (90.7 FM) will broadcast live (on the air and online) from the Cajun-Zydeco Festival's Esplanade Street Stage on Sunday.
