Folk music legend Richie Havens performed a benefit concert for our Heritage School of Music on Oct. 16 at the Howlin' Wolf. The crowd was thrilled with Havens' rendition of his greatest hits, including "Here Comes the Sun" and "Freedom." The duet of Paul Sanchez and Heritage School alum Shamarr Allen was also warmly received. Students from the Lusher and Dillard campuses of the Heritage School performed and sounded great!
