Follow the Music to Fulton Street
'Follow the Music' is a fund-raising concert for the Jazz & Heritage Foundation's signature education program, the Don Jamison Heritage School of Music.
Date: Saturday, May 16, 2009
Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: Ernst Cafe (upstairs), 600 S. Peters Street
Admission: $50 per person (includes open bar and buffet)
'Follow the Music' will feature performances by students and faculty from both campuses of the Heritage School - including Leah Chase, Edward 'Kidd' Jordan, Kent Jordan, Edward Anderson, Jesse McBride and others - along with a special guest appearance by Heritage School alumnus Shamarr Allen.
The admission fee covers an open bar and fabulous food by Galatoire's, Dooky Chase, Gordon Biersh, Zea's Rotisserie Grill, Drago's, and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse restaurants.
Please join us in supporting the musical education of New Orleans' youth.
Shamarr Allen will be the featured performer, along with students and faculty of the Don Jamision Heritage School of Music, at the 'Follow the Music' fund-raising concert on Saturday, May 16, 6-9 p.m. at Ernst Cafe.
