Community Partnership Grants

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is accepting applications for two categories of the 2009-2010 cycle of the Community Partnership Grants program.

The two categories and their deadlines are:

Jazz Journey Presenting: Festivals and Concerts in Music and Performing Arts
This category is open to nonprofit organizations that create employment opportunities for musicians and other performing artists by presenting festivals, concerts and other cultural events.
Application Deadline: September 4, 2009 (no extensions)
Activity Period: The proposed activity funded by this grant must take place between October 1, 2009, and September 30, 2010.

Heritage School Programs in Music, Arts and Cultural Traditions
This category is open to nonprofit and educational organizations that employ musicians and other artists to conduct educational programming.
Application Deadline: November 2, 2009 (no extensions)
Activity Period: The proposed activity funded by this grant must take place between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2010.
