More about the “Princess and the Frog”:
The musical “The Princess and the Frog” is an animated comedy set in New Orleans circa the 1920s. From the creators of “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin” comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose) – who is the first African-American princess to star in a Disney animated film. She meets a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again. Their fateful kiss leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
Music in the score was composed by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman and features such Louisiana performers as Dr. John, Terence Blanchard, Terrance Simien.
“The Princess and the Frog” marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements. The film is rated “G.”
