November 14th TSA Conference: 8 Continuing Education Credits

ISSUES AND CASE STUDIES IN SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
TSA Continuing Education Conference

We are quickly approaching the October 16 reduced-fee Early Bird deadline for registration.  This is the first time we've tried to pull together a Continuing Education opportunity for TSA alumni.  I am sincerely hoping that we can generate enough responses and registrations to make it possible for us to offer similar opportunities in the future.  The ultimate success of this depends entirely on participation by alumni and others who register for the program.

We've developed this conference as an opportunity for attendees to receive 8 Sustainable Design Continuing Education Credits. It's a great chance to return to campus to see the progress there as well and see John Klingman's presentation on the Lavin Bernick Center for University Life.  Other presentations will cover case studies at Newcomb and the Smithsonian; the Cradle to Cradle design philosophy; and the concepts of passive building/active occupant duo and the integration of passive bioclimatic strategies into design. Join us to get your Sustainable Design credits and network with fellow alumni and architects.

Our conference planning (meals, party at Ralph's on the Park after the conference, and other logistics) also makes it such that we need to have a firm idea of how many people will be attending - and we need to know this as soon as possible (thus our encouragement for early registration and the reduced fee).

Please register as early as possible.  The details of the conference and registration instructions are clearly indicated on the PDF (download here).

Thank you!

Ken Schwartz
