Amiri Baraka Reception
Dear Members of the Board, Advisory Council, Past President's Senate and Honors Council:
You are invited to join us for a recption in honor of Amiri Baraka, who will give the Tom Dent Congo Square Lecture at Dillard University's Lawless Memorial Chapel this Thursday.
Date: Thursday, March 25
Time: The reception will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Edward "Kidd" Jordan and his band will perform from 7:00 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., and Mr. Baraka will start is lecture at 7:45 p.m.
Location: Lawless Memorial Chapel, in the Social Room (just off the main entrance, opposite the auditorium). Map.
Admission: Admission to the lecture is free.
