Community Day of Service 2010

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and radio station WWOZ invite you to join us for our second annual Community Day of Service - a chance to help build houses for our musicians and community.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and radio station WWOZ will host the second annual Community Day of Service on Wednesday, April 28, at New Orleans Area Habitat For Humanity’s Musician’s Village in the Upper Ninth Ward.

The community is invited to join us in helping to build houses for our musicians and cultural community.

To volunteer, please register online by clicking here. To register by phone, please call (504) 558-6103. Registration will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 23.

The Community Day of Service is a part of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's Raisin' the Roof home ownership program.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is the nonprofit organization that owns the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. The Foundation uses the proceeds from Jazz Fest, and other revenues, for year-round programs in the areas of education, economic development and cultural events.
